Lily DeTaeye + Karen Wheelock + Kaia Kalise

For Lily DeTaeye, there is no backup plan when it comes to her music career. A full-time student at the University of Iowa by day and full-time recording artist by night, her approach to songwriting and musicality shows that, despite her young age, shes no stranger to the stage or studio. With a powerful, soulful voice reminiscent of Norah Jones, and a diverse musical ability spanning indie folk rock to pop shes an absolute delight leaving her audiences reeling. Whether shes up on stage with her guitar and band, serenading passersby at the piano, or sitting on the riverbank with her ukulele, youll know shes truly something special, and youll always stop to listen just a little while longer.

Award-winning singer/songwriter Karen Wheelock from Madison, WI is ready to serenade you with her heartfelt melodies. Her candid lyrics bridge the gap between the reverence of new love and straightforward acceptance of loss. Romantic at its core, Wheelocks music has a sound all its own, but one could draw connections to A Fine Frenzy, Lisa Loeb, Cat Power with just a hint of the Moldy Peaches' spirit. Hidden within her songwriting is a deep love for the Foo Fighters and other hard rock bands. Wheelock's repertoire ranges from light-hearted ditties to deeply profound ballads; these are clearly the result of personal reflection, the stuff of all good art. Wheelock released her debut EP "Imaginary Girl" at the end of 2014 and recently released her uplifting, sophomore EP "So Far" this past December.

KAIA KALISE is inspired by the personal and the fictional, the primal and poetic. She lives for a good story and a play on words, melding classical piano with impassioned indie rock stylings. Reviewers have noted being "entranced" by her "upbeat yet contemplative" music & lyrics, comparing her voice to a variety of artists including Sara Bareilles, Paramore, and Fleetwood Mac. Acknowledgements include the 2017 Madison Area Music Association award for Classical Song and the 2016 award for Jazz Song, the Top 8 in 105.5 Triple Ms Project M contest, and RAW Madisons Musician of the Year Semi-Finalist. She is also lucky enough to perform and compose for her other great love, the theatre. Her first full-length album, Half Lives, is set for release in early 2018.
